Dreaming

It's been a long time since I felt you last
close to a year
but you were there the other night
bushing up against my mind for a second or two .

Somehow I think
maybe you were dreaming of me
only you haven't realized it yet
haven't found me
or my words about you.

But perhaps in that dream
you found your way to me
if only for a few moments.
